- About 2 km (25 minutes’ walk) east of JR Yamagata Station
- By bus from JR Yamagata Station: Board a bus bound for 山形県庁 (Yamagata Kenchō, Yamagata Prefectural Office) and get off at 山形南高前 (Yamagata Nankō-mae, Yamagata South High School). This is about a 7-minute ride, followed by a 7-minute walk.
